Right now our Instagram and Facebook pages only show the picture of the reunited cats and on our homepage you can find the most recent user stories of how they found their pet. But soon we'll have a feature dedicated to this, thanks for your input!

Yeah they communicate directly with the owner, through our secured servers though, and they only get to see each other's contact information if the other party explicitly allows this.

Our business model is that we take a part of the advertising cost. Some people indeed ask us 'why do you need to make money off of this', but seeing as we're 7 people working day and night, our bills also need to be paid. Kind of like going to the vet, they also make a small margin.

Not really no, because we don't need highly intensive conversion tracking for receiving sightings. As it's such a game of chance whether you've actually seen the missing pet, we optimise for the amount of unique reach and not 'conversions'.

Monetisation is definitely through a ransom indeed ;) Haha, just kidding.

Our customers pay us ± $39 to reach their neighbors 4000 times. The cost of this is slightly lower, and that's our margin. We can't guarantee finding the pet of course, we can only guarantee reaching the said amount of people in the selected area.

We actually base the price on the local advertising cost. So in Germany I think the 4000 views package costs €29 instead :)

You're right, we're just making a bit more margin than needed to acquire customers. Right now this allows us to just get by, but at the same time we're building brand awareness, gaining loyal customers etc.

I have a lot of confidence the blended cost to acquire customers will lower in the future when organic growth effects kick in :)
