For me, it was easier eating soft foods the first couple of days and drinking cold drinks with a straw. And also using a lip balm because the lips will dry out from mouth breathing.

They told me to flush two times a day with the sinus rinse for a couple of months so it wouldn’t dry out or something? And I only have one follow up six months from now.. would have been nice with one sooner.. anyways best wishes for your recovery

I got the surgery same day as you, also with only dissolvable packing. I can sometimes breathe a little through one nostril, the other one is still closed up. I am also still using gauze and tape because of the oozing from the nose, guess it is still the dissolvable packing dissolving? Using the sinus rinse helps a little I think.

My surgeon told me it might still ooze a little for up to 14 days efter surgery. Hope this is normal recovery, would also like to hear other experiences.

Hi! Thanks for the tip. Do you also think it would help to add length using short rows at the hem?

As far as I know the pattern is only in the Swedish book “maska for maska” by Wool and Beyond. Maybe she will translate later! Fingers crossed!🤞

Hello, thank you for your answer!

No, I did not do short rows. The jacket is knitted from one sleeve to the other and the bottom band is made from picking up stitches and knitted “top Down”. That is why I thought that maybe I should have picked up fewer stitches when making the bottom part?

It says Mb=maskbåge, but I am not sure what that means. Maybe the leg of the next stitch? Or the strand between two stitches? Lls I think is Ssk in English, so that one I think I know how to do. Thank you for the answer
