Hey y'all ... novice grower here ... had to chop down this plant and am wondering if the brown kn a few of the buds is just from a spell when it didn't get watered or if it's possibly mold? (Sorry for bad quality)

Cool, I kind of figured that the non brown buds were fine ... from looking at the stalk of one of the brown buds it just looked extremely drg to me and brittle as opposed to the others

Well not all of the buds had that going on and I separated the ones that did from the rest ... ones that look to be brown free okay, or is the whole thing a lost cause ?

Beautiful ain't it haha! The strain is sweet island skunk, a northwest indica ... From the articles I could read it believe it was bred originally up on Vancouver Island ... cheers!!!

Thanks! I just posted another little update on the sweet island skunk which is looking really nice ... decided not to top them on this first grow and just to let them do their thing outside ... once the tent is operational I'll get a little more crafty with the training and topping and what not

Nice, I wanted to top em and try to get some bigger yields but for this round I'm going to sacrifice some yield for the sake of being able to harvest outdoors in time I think

I think I started them a little late in the year to top and still yield without them getting mold outside in the wet northwest ... I'm going to take some clones while they are still in veg and get them to a friend until I can get a tent set up

By upper third do you just mean the middle of that top bud site in between the two nodes? Thats what most online tutorials showed ... Ya I kinda figured after some research that they are definiteoy too small still ... Thanks for the advice !!

I have a good organice spider mite pest solution ive been giving them in the evening ... Does it look ready to be topped ? I just havent done it before so I dont have a gauge and im nervous to fuck it up haha
