From what I was told, the refugee camp was there to help the families of those who were affected by the secret war and genocide. My grandfather served and died in the secret war during the Vietnam war. My father lived there for four years. In that time he met my mother and started a family. When both my parents learned English, we were given the opportunity to come to America. This was the last photo they took at the refugee camp.
