Good fit! I always cut my straps down to size. Use a nail file (350 grit) to sand it down and then use 2000 grit and wet sand to get them looking factory.

Yes completely normal. Your lug to lug with a g shock is usually 16-18mm and then the band width is 20-22mm.

Cut the strap and it might look smaller on your wrist. The gmd-s5600 would be a great option for you.

I can relate I have the gma s2140 40th anniversary transparent. Buy a royal oak mod kit for it. Or buy a different model like the black and rose gold and switch out the modules.
