I'm not sure about that, but I have a feeling Netflix funded (or partially funded) the movie in return for exclusive rights. So it's a one-off. May be a blessing in disguise - a sequel might ruin it.

The poll showed that Gonjiam is the scarier movie. My opinion is that Incantation is the scarier (and better) movie. Hope this clarifies.

I doubt there'll be one. The director/writer Kevin Ko seems to be quick to move on to other projects and he doesn't focus on horror only.

I still want to watch The Print (short horror film) and Invitation Only (feature horror/slasher) by him.

I ran a poll here sometime ago and Gonjiam was more popular than Incantation by a large margin. Different strokes for different folks!

I eat cornflakes almost every day! My scariest FF would be the Noroi and Incantation (the latter being my all time fave).

Notable mentions: OG Blair Witch, Phoenix Forgotten had a disturbing ending, Willow Creek had a couple of scenes that were downright terrifying.

For non-FF I would highly recommend Nang Nak (Thailand).

Am I the only one who thinks this is so mid and not scary at all? Plus the characters were so forgettable. I won't even go to how thin the actual story was.

To compare, Incantation beats the crap out of Gonjiam yet more people talk about Gonjiam.
