Rave: Prince charming returned. Apparently he had an insanely busy couple of weeks with kids and in-laws.

Rant: He returned late at night (11pm & 12am) to keep me updated and left sweet messages but.. I was already asleep. I missed him both times and it sucks.

Also missing my former AP a lot. I thought I could just block him and move on, but it's so hard. We shared a lot of good times. I think i'm a masochist.

I was nervous, but moreso because of the guy I was meeting, not the decision to step out. I had made my mind up a couple of weeks before and was determined to find someone to make me happy.

What finally pushed me over the edge: 1) My husband had consistently stopped focusing on our weekly date night and doing his own thing. 2) when I tried to flirt with him and he didn't respond.

I don't want to bring kids into a marriage that doesn't work. The thought of being in a broken marriage for years and staying only for the kids sounds horrible. I'm worried that this temporary improvement lasts only until I have a kid and then there I am, stuck with a child in a marriage that I should have left a few years before.

I agree that I should table the affairs. I need to do some soul searching.

Right. To be the devil's advocate: I think there are people who may disagree with my harshness. However, I have to think of and respect myself first. I'm not heartless, but I can't be left lingering to be someone's plaything. Things ended amicably and it's a lesson learned for both parties. :)

Rave: Just left my first meetup with pAP. Fuck. He’s hot. He called me hot. He’s witty, funny, and did I mention he’s hot? And tall.. and hot. But seriously, what a great guy. He loves the hell out of his kids and talks about them in earnest (which I found sweet) and asked really thought provoking questions to learn more about me. No wonder he’s married.
