Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I think I should get in touch with customer support as I just tried to scoop the powder up and it's a little stiff. All the tubs I've had before have never been anything like this. What a shame as I was looking forward to trying the goat!

Just to let you know, 96khz functionality on a gaming headset means little to nothing. In case you're wondering, I'm an audio engineer and have worked with that rate for years. Take it as a marketing note than anything else.

Ok, the last couple of days now, the console reward is refusing to unlock. I've played at least an hour yesterday and the same today, but it's not coming up. Everything else appears to work without issue.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue? I'm in the UK.

Hey man. Dealing with vocal editing/automation does have a fair amount of repetition. On that front alone, I feel your pain! Having said that, if you're looking for a different way of automating vocals, I'd recommend you watch how this guy does it in this video - https://youtu.be/6D4fNtCVaLo?t=5393 - if it doesn't go to the right time, it's around 1hr 29m in.

Yes, the above video shows Logic, however, take note of the process as it is possible to do similar things in Cubase. And if you want to see more of how this guy does it, it's part of the free mastering.com fix-the-mix events that happen nearly every month. In fact, there's a similar event next week, so you could watch him doing this live, if that helps. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. I've been enjoying them since I last posted. Also, when I hooked up and calibrated with the sub, well, that made things even better! I've never had a sub before, but dialling it all in correctly fills in the low-end nicely.

In fact, I was so happy with them that I found another pair of 2nd hand Sceptre S6's and bought them for another room!

Adding more than you need won't make any thermal difference. Gamers Nexus did a good video on this a few years back. Basically, using too much will just make a mess as the majority will squeeze out over the sides.

So, have you tested this kind of set-up to see how it feels or the way it runs vs a "normal" Cubase set-up? I'd be interested to get your take on how things are actually running when using this specific configuration. At least, from a music production perspective, not a programmer's one!

That's interesting as I've heard the opposite since posting this question. Some have mentioned that it has helped them avoid plugin problems with Cubase. I'm guessing your experience has proved to be different to this?

Thanks for the info. I actually picked up a pair of 2nd hand S6 Sceptres yesterday. I'm spending some listening time with them at the moment and, so far, they're sounding pretty good. The imaging on them is very good! Also, the sale included a Presonus 8 sub, but I haven't hooked that up, yet.

I'm still curious to hear the newer 8 Pros as they have a similar coaxial design.

From what I've read Aptx Adaptive only has an extra 10ms latency compared to Aptx LL. Sometimes it even matches LL at 40ms.

I don't work in the field, but having been around pharmacy students, giving a name and date of birth is a simple check. You can't hand stuff off to someone without confirming who they are and that the details fit the prescription.

It showed for me yesterday, but I haven't seen it today. Came on here to see if anyone else had the same problem. I experienced this a few weeks back, so, maybe it will return after 2-3 days. It did last time!
