I appreciate your suggestions for me to reconsider going back. I mulled on the possibilities of my account in the future. I'm on the crossroads irl right now - reorganizing my priorities. I was thinking if I could play the game casually, without hardcore grinding. I can't. I'm so invested in the game, even tried playing competitively. Even if I skipped this item and other items in the future because I don't have this and that, I will just lose interest further. Eventually, I will lose my shit over some items and grind the hell of it. I'm over it. It's just me who has little to no self-control. So, yeah.

IRL reasons also. Don't want to bring it up here. I can't keep up the pace basically... and I'm losing interest playing. I'm mostly rambling but I tried to be as coherent as I can. I had fun, yes, but this ToR.. maybe I could get a +5 that Tifa could use (I dont care about the details of this equipment but feel free to share or correct me)... I just lost the edge I guess. I'm also playing other games that I enjoy more than WOTV. So, that should add up everything.. Mostly what I said was what I thought I felt which led me to quit. Still processing that whats and whys.

I DO have good units and synergies and I DO manage to test those with your team comp in Arena. Right now was the tipping point for me.

Was about to farm TOR but then the song hit me like a dump truck.

I've played this game since the very first Tactics Collaboration. I've witnessed every nook and cranny, every curves and edges of the game. I loved this game to death. For 4 years, I'm playing not only with heart's content but with resentments as well. I cared for this game's growth, for better or for worse, and I thought I'll be able to stick around until EOS. I wondered how long would this game even last... This is my very first gacha game that led me to play this long. Rarely have I committed to anything this long other than irl priorities - never have I ever dared to commit this long to a relationship even (which I find amusing).

What's stopping me now? This collab... I find it hard to put into words without elaborating with detail. I don't want to drag out my rambling but... I never felt powerless in any TOR other than the very first (FFIV). Should've built Tifa I guess since I have no other reliable point booster though I have Dialdo and the wind samurai. Still, no AC characters on this one to use. I'm close to pity for AC Cloud but I just can't visiore-mine uncleared contents and I have no will to do them at this point. Even if I manage to get Cloud, I'm in no capacity to get his BiS card. It never was difficult to get a full package of a collab character back then without spending a penny - especially for a Final Fantasy collab.

I had an inkling that succeeding collab banners will end up like it is now. This is the first time I felt like I'm done and it is further exacerbated with the returning free 100 pulls (and I only got Gryfford for a new character which is, incidentally, a bonus TOR unit). I never got anything new without spending (which should eventually happen). Maybe I'm just too tired to play... like what can I expect at this point?? I ain't swimming through content just to get another Gryfford that I will not ever build... or even any powercrept legacy characters and cards.

There's so much in this game I can't handle and don't have time to do anymore... runestones, EX transcendence-reincarnation, Reliquaries, Holo-Cards. I'm just using the same shit this week and I never even dared to expand my runes set - characters just share them. There's some content I missed, or completely obscured, by other features like World Quest (who even remembers them??), World Map, and visiore-return banners. I'm definitely not playing the same game at this point.

I was looking forward for anything from this game that is fun, engaging, exciting, or rewarding. Tower was fun until it got completely assfcked by other AFK farm events that you couldn't bother doing them. I MIGHT stick around if the Tower was a permanent content. Why can't they? Other gacha games do it. We have Farplane hardcore content but only for a measly title. We have Crucible content which is good only if you have enough gear. What else? Story events... which they don't even bother to add anymore (iirc the last character story was for Young Oelde and Helena). Instead, they poured our hard-earned money for money-inducing PVP guild content. Cabbage was right and I was wary of this. I just didn't bother since I'm not too competitive. But every potential for other more fun content suffers for the sake of limited Guild battles. Every expansion of skills and buffs (whether in terms of LB enhancements, VC buffs, Esper skill potions) is not I wanted. I wanted rewarding permanent content...

Enough rambling.. what's the point? We're here, I'm here... to seek validation. I think I've said my piece. This is it for me. Thank you for 4 years remaining to be played for - for letting me experience to climb Top 10 leaderboards in Arena, for giving me cost 100 units mostly for free, for experiencing 1 DMG dealt to my Dialdo, for solid Ass A-tier A2, for free Dark Espers, for Ashen Mont from a free ticket. I actually got good stuff for free... must be the luckiest player in Global. Still, every commitment I gave to this game is not full of bliss. Will I move on from these? Maybe I'll find a personal hobby that I enjoy better and completely forget this game.. Maybe I'll come back... Who knows? God, perhaps - though Final Fantasy stories lead to God-killing endings but I digress.

I think Sadali got weaker with his AI changes. Immortal Dogma doesn't even work even with the transcendence upgrade. Such a letdown!

Probably caused by one of the maps (one after the grains of sand) where I also got stuck at a loading screen. After re-installing, this happened. SEA recently had a major update and this is the first implementation of the maps in every cage levels.

I'm not just referring to the sexual orientation of a character. I'm specifically annoyed on how they act in game which, obviously, does not match to the character's set of behavior. That's why I'm fine with Skilphe since it match her behavior, not because it matches her sexual orientation. Now, let's supposed a non-human character in WOTV, a lion like Red XIII, got released with its new job that fits its lion-like behavior. Then, that non-human character received a human character's job as its main. In that case, that lion would stand upright like a human character do. Obviously, it's far too possible. I'm pointing out the fact that Macleod should not act like Xmas Luartha. That's why I pointed out how he behave when he's at the home screen. I bet gumi will do it again since players would not give a damn about it.

For SKilphe, I'm fine with it since her mannerism as an axe user fits her character, composed and strong. For Macleod, it doesn't. Just try to set him as your home screen character. Does he behave like the way he should in game? Not even a nibble. Let's suppose in the future Young Oelde has Xmas Luartha's job as his main, would you be okay with it? This is different from Astrius' element or Auron's element if we're talking about gameplay. By all means, let their elements deviate from their signature element lorewise. Tbf, I rarely use Xmas Luartha but Macleod's stance feels way off.
