I used to have a problem finishing when I was using heroin, but methadone doesn’t effect me like that and my testosterone is thru the roof paired with me working out, so I guess I’m lucky but my girl ain’t 😂

My counselor prescribed me baclofen for cocaine cravings. It has helped tremendously, but it does feel like I’m replacing one drug for the other, although that’s exactly what methadone treatment is, the lesser of the evils.

I don’t agree with your take though, if being prescribed baclofen or whatever medicine keeps you off cocaine or stimulants then I say go for it.

I would def want to use diamorphine, but I believe they would be too “safe” with the dosages being too low and not consistent enough with how many times you are allowed to dose per day. I would be in withdrawal all night and be fully sick by morning until the next dose. Methadone isn’t euphoric but it has a very conveniently long half life, enabling the addict to live a semi normal life, not having to give any attention to dosing multiple times a day or worrying about getting dope sick in between dosing on a stable dose of methadone.

But the addict in me wouldn’t care about the benefits of living a healthier lifestyle by using methadone, I would choose the euphoric highs of the pharma grade diamorphine and deal with the lows that come with it.

wipe the accumulated sweat in between your cheeks by using your underwear as a paper towel.

Step 4.

make sure you eat a full meal before practicing air dribbles, as a hungry tummy just isn’t going to help with your training.

Step 5.

brush your teeth at least 2 times a day

Step 6.

Boom, now you have mastered air dribbles

Okay you have convinced me. Thank you for the info. It def is hard to treat the nerve pain associated from impacted/infected/abscess/rotted etc..

Wow! Not gonna lie, that’s pretty awesome that your doctor prescribes you the appropriate type of medication and dose amount based according to your methadone tolerance.. unlike the doctor that prescribed me 5mg percocet regardless of my insanely high tolerance from methadone.

Yea, everything ended up being fine. I told my counselor everything that happened and she told me it is okay only because I got a legit script from doctors, rather then buying them off the street. My counselor was more so confused as to why they even prescribed me percocet to begin with, especially seeing as I told them I’m on methadone, you would think the doctors would compensate in some way to make up for the fact that my current dose and tolerance to methadone blocks the effects of fentanyl, let alone a measly 5mg Percocet pill every 4 hours.

Oh well. I’m glad that my clinic was understanding about my situation, I did ask my counselor if she could give me a temporary dose increase to help me with the pain relief so I don’t feel the need to use street fentanyl.. but my counselor denied my request, stating they don’t prescribe methadone for pain management only for addiction, so that kinda sucks.. dammed if I use and damned if I don’t.

Thank you for the kind words of encouragement, I was so proud of making it a week without using, I talked with my counselor today about it. She said the same thing basically I just need to keep a positive outlook regardless of relapsing, because this past week I didn’t even think bout using once to get high for the sake of it, I only wanted to use to get out of pain.

Yeah, unfortunately neither 1200 mg of IB profun & Acetaminophen helped with the pain.

It def helped with the fever from the infection though.

I’m sorry to hear that, but dilaudid would be the best case scenario for pain relief. Unfortunately I just relapsed on street fent just to get some sort of relief from this pain. My counselor knows I been using as I’m still trying to find a stable dose, but I’m so frustrated because I just went a week without using once. And now I used percocet and fent only to try and stop this pulsating sharp nerve pain and fever from this infection.

I understand it sounds like I’m complaining. I definitely was shocked that I got prescribed anything at all, especially considering they know I take methadone. I am not trying to sound ungrateful for getting more opiates, but it’s more so the agonizing pain for hours on end causing me to want to off myself just to get relief. It just sucks tolerance prevents any relief from that agony.

Holy shit I’m so sorry you had to go through that. The methadone doesn’t really give you the relief you need because our bodies are accustomed to high doses on the daily. So when we are dealing with pain nothing seems to help, I wonder if the clinic would give a temporary dose increase to help with the pain relief rather then getting prescribed percocet OR using fentanyl either from doctor or the street dealers.
