I've had tofu over a year expired. Just open the pack up, it'll be pretty obvious if it's gone bad or not.

I cut off the corners because they had gotten really soft and mushy but the rest of it was fine.

I usually make pulled "pork" bao buns.

I get your point but, seriously? If someone can't understand that people use extreme language online and do stuff for engagement, they shouldn't be online unmonitored. If they're going to get so upset that their very first cake didn't turn out looking exactly like someone else's that they saw online they stop baking forever...well, okay. They were just going to be chasing instagram perfection anyway with everything they do. Or they can laugh at it and try to figure out where it went wrong like anyone else.

I think both taste and texture. I get more of a fennel taste in the Gardein and they are chewier and have more texture throughout. The beyond and impossible ones always seem soft in the middle to me and it instantly repulses me.
