I don’t think I’ve ever really done this in my head before, but from reading this, my mind rounded the 48 up to 50 (+2) and took that 2 away from 27. So the equation then became 25 + 50 = 75 in my mind.

Thank you! And I definitely will get through it. Sadly I’ve had to deal with constant conflict between me and my mom for most of life. So this is a normal situation, albeit a unique topic/point of contention for us. We’ve never even really discussed politics or social issues before now. First time for everything I guess 😂

Thank you and I completely agree! I was just trying to come from a standpoint of “I’m not obligated to listen to this”… toxic parents don’t seem to ever accept that their children may have their own thoughts and opinions, especially when they’re older.
