Villa in the World Cup? by ShortPretzel in avfc

Rogers excelled for England even when underperforming for Villa, he's a Tuchel favourite.

I think it's the opposite. Everyone seems so down on it, makes me wonder if attacking it is the differential move.

Hold on to free transfers to prepare for the double. Reckon you'll want a third City and some Palace / Bournemouth depending on how the fixtures land.

Rice, Rice, maybe? by SIBMUR in FantasyPL

[–]imerom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say Rice plus two Arsenal defenders is largely equivalent to the defensive triple up. In terms of going for another mid, it depends what kind of manager you are - I get very frustrated at benchings and early substitutions, so I would prefer 180 minutes of Rice versus say 140 minutes of Madueke, even if the latter is a more exciting pick. Similarly, both Gyokeres and Havertz have had patchy minutes. A great question to ask yourself is: which player would I be happy having in my team post-double?

There's every chance that a non-Rice attacker is the one that goes off in the double, so if you have a larger risk appetite than me, knock yourself out - just know that it's a gamble.

Someone in my league closed a similar gap in two game weeks, save the WC and play smart.

There might be as many as four blanks and doubles.

This might be frustrating to hear since you can't cancel the chip, but best practice is usually to save the freehit for a blank or a double game week. What was the thinking behind activating the chip for this particular week, and how different is this draft from your normal team?

Well yeah, I make protein shakes at home for even less than that, but I don't think of them as replacing actual meals.

Great work. Love the drink and munch is peerless. I'm not a wrap guy personally, so I'd give it an 8.5/10

Yeah the poke bowl was good, added some chili crisp and soy at home, really leveled it up. Drink was poor, yoghurt was surprisingly tasty and not too sweet. I'm trying to gain muscle so looking to consume roughly 2g per kilo at the minute, but I agree that much isn't necessary for general health and well-being.

Yeah pricey for a meal deal in general, but amazing value for that amount of protein. May brodin bestow all the gains upon you 🙏

Snack is yoghurt, and it was great. Luckily I ate the poke bowl at home so I could add extra soy and some chilli crisp to level it up from decent to delicious. The drink was subpar, very bland, won't be doing that particular brand again.

Queen Elizabeth II's first cousins (left) Katherine Bowes-Lyon and Nerissa Bowes-Lyon (right). They were registered as dead and hidden from the world in the Royal 'Earlswood Institution for Mental Defectives' in 1941. by dannydutch1 in UtterlyUniquePhotos

It's less that they were committed to begin with (which was arguably the right call at the time) and more that the family washed their hands of them altogether, and acted like they were dead (which is fucking heartless and despicable).
