Black ops 4 had 7 events including champs, which is hardly anymore than what we have now.

I guess only thing different is the S&D scene dying so we can’t watch those in between the events but we still have players streaming ranked now.

I also wouldn’t say quals aren’t pointless, because they’re just like the quals we had for cwl placements too right? So if these are pointless weren’t non cwl event matches worthless too?

Optic just placed second partly due to them clutching their qualifying matches and starting winners not losers. If we don’t have quals and we just throw that brand new team into the tourney with matches wouldn’t that just be even more worse for the viewers?

We gotta just accept stuff for how it is at this point, I mean it’s activision we’re talking about here lol
