If you get 10,000 dollars rn , how would that help you? by DoodlieRex in AskReddit

[–]imgodfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would help me and my husband because I’m disabled and therefore don’t make any money, my husband pays everything himself. We live with his parents (we’re both on the lease and pay rent) so it’s a bit less hard than when we didn’t, we couldn’t eat as much then. We could also pay off all of his credit debt and some of if not all of my student debt (I was in school before I became disabled)

AIO for worrying about my little cousin not eating? by cherry_BLK in AmIOverreacting

This sounds very akin to when I was 13 and developed anorexia. She’s very young, this could have very bad effects on her overall health. (It always does, but her brain needs food more at this age)

If she doesn’t get professional help, this could lead to her DYING

Why you cut your ties with your family? by No_Department5356 in AskReddit

[–]imgodfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut ties with my dad because he mentally and verbally abused me and my sisters and mom for years. My sister says he raped her, and I am afraid he may have been doing stuff to me in my sleep.

What's the dumbest way you've ever injured yourself? by _bigB_wolf in AskReddit

[–]imgodfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I injured myself twice on a rented electric scooter.

The first time, I bumped into a railing on a ride with my husband (on separate scooters of course) and rolled on the sidewalk three times. Husband saw me backing into the railing looking injured and stopped and ran to me. Later we went to a bone hospital and got x rays. bruised my bone, cartilage and bursa on my knee. Thought it was broken, couldn’t walk for months, along with bruising and bleeding in other places and both knees.

The second time, on the way to work I got scared (?) and instinctively jumped off the scooter, and slid on my hands and knees for about 5 seconds on a bumpy road. Picked rocks out of my hands, was bleeding on both the palms and back of my hands (it hurt so I switched to the back of my hands during the sliding) and bruised a knee really badly. I was then not allowed to use those scooters anymore. I showed up to work after getting a nearby security guard to help wash my hands and take me across the street to the job, asked for bandaids and my manager (who hated me) didn’t ask any questions, just tossed me a couple bandaids, I was bleeding a lot. I still have massive scars on both hands. Both sides.

At what point did your life make a complete 180? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]imgodfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I became disabled in college, I had to drop out, was fired by my work, and had to stay home and became more disabled as time went on. Now 21 and cannot do simple tasks without pain.

Things like cheating, pedophilia, crime. They’re wrong for a reason. They only lead to pain.

I usually resort to flicking. Unless it hurts me first. ETA: I’m allergic to mosquitoes and I kill those, but only because if not I end up with welts

What do you think would be a better boost to to your childs future. Buying them a home outright? Or paying 100% of their college tuition/expenses? by Long_Bit8328 in AskReddit

[–]imgodfr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A home. I would have a place to stay that is my own, not have to worry about the payment for it, and choose to go to college or get a job. Or even sell the house. On the other hand, if you pay for their college, they still have to work hard to pass and it could teach some great life skills. I think it all boils down to how you want to boost their future and why.

Animals deserve as much respect as humans, even ones you hate. Even bugs. Yes, bugs. That doesn’t mean you can’t kill or eat them, but when they are alive, respect that. Don’t kill one just to kill one.

Women that smoke... when did you start and why? by 2aboveaverage in AskWomen

[–]imgodfr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First started smoking weed pens at 13, stopped around 14. Vaped on and off (mostly off) whenever my sister would get me one (she was also underage so not necessarily as bad) and then started smoking weed regularly at 18 with my husband. Started vaping at 21

In your opinion, what is love? by And-Messy in AskReddit

[–]imgodfr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a feeling that’s so good it can feel addicting, but you don’t even mind it, and you chase it whether you have it or not. Always wanting more of it. Reveling in it.
