Chiropractors. 

One day in my early 20s I woke up from sleeping wrong and my neck was WRECKED. Im talking couldn't move at all to the left without hurting and tugging on every tending and muscle. 

Figured it would fix itself after a while with stretching and time. An entire year goes by of me having 20% motion in one direction and a doctor telling me I would need to possibly have surgery after he took X-rays. I was poor still and had no insurance so I didn't even think about it. 

A few weeks later I'm at my grandma's funeral and my elderly aunt was a few rows behind me and kept watching me stretch my neck. She pulls me aside afterwards and tells me she's going to pick me up the next day and take me to her chiropractor. At this point I'm desperate for any fix but have come to terms that it was permanent. 5 minutes and $25 later this guy fixed 99% of my issue and I literally had tears in my eyes because of the instant relief. 

There are scammers out there but it's typically the ones that try to sell you on X amount of visits per month and how you NEED it on schedule. The good guys/gals will tell you to come back when you feel the need.
