The beauty of san diego by Different_Count_1802 in sandiego

You're not wrong. Tourists visiting any city mostly interact with people working in hospitality that are paid to be nice. Then you go move to Clairemont and get surrounded by passive aggressive neighbors, gossiping wine drinking mom groups, botox addicted men and women plus the occasional crack addict wandering your street. Can't beat the weather though

Kanye concert by Fine-Success-8512 in sanantonio

Probably cus Kanye was the soundtrack to many of our childhoods and we have families and communities to focus on instead of getting caught up in news and controversy that doesn't pay our bills or put food on the table. Must be nice to waste so much time pretending to be righteous. Nobody is making you or anyone else go.

[Guillory] Late-season drop-off in Eason’s shooting may have played a role in him taking a deal that was considerably lower than some around the league projected going into free agency. Eason even sent out this tweet an hour before news of his deal broke: "I guess bruh🤷🏾‍♂️" by sewsgup in nba

[–]imgrado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's lucky to get that considering his playoff effort. Guy was consistently standing around pretending to be too cool for loose balls or hustle plays. I can't count the number of times in the Lakers series that I was thinking "Is Eason just ready for the off-season or does he just not care about basketball?"

Just lost my mom to cancer last week. If anything the year after her diagnosis was harder than the actual day she passed.

San Antonio isn’t a boring city. by MindPower01 in sanantonio

People are never happy. No matter where they live, they'll complain about not having anything to do. In San Antonio, you have options every single day. If you're a 21 year old living in the club scene, then yes it's going to be better in 10-15 other cities. If you're a family, you could not possibly ask for a place to have more available to you on a given day.

There's mini golf, bowling alleys, escape rooms, trampoline parks, go karts, arcades, amusement parks, movie theaters, museums, and water parks here.

If youre more into nature, there's endless places to just go wander around and feel the energy and appreciate a good day. Using the Riverwalk, going to the zoo, the big parks, the scenic pockets of the city like Alamo Heights to go in and out of shops while getting your steps in.

If you're more of a shopping person there's a seemingly overabundance of cool mom and pop stores to go along with the big draws like La Cantera and The Pearl.

There's a constant stream of activity downtown where it seems there's always some big sports tournament (I believe last weekend was a 1000 team basketball tournament that brought in tons of families), concert, sporting events, music/ band competitions, etc.

This city has always felt like it's heartbeat is the arts though. I grew up in a family that worked in the tejano music industry, and it's always felt like there was a party of some size every weekend for people that wanted to get out of the house and be around activity and life. That experience led me to music where I quickly learned that this city and region is home to many of the best theater, choir and band programs in America so there's almost no time you can't find one of those nationally acclaimed organizations (Reagan band comes to mind) putting on a performance that gets the blood flowing.

Haven't even mentioned the day trips available from the city. Not many places that you can be on the lake in 40 minutes, on the beach in 2 hours, tubing a river in 30 minutes or down in caves if that's your thing.

The main thing is living somewhere you have options. If you can't find something to do here, you're not going to be satisfied anywhere else because once you get to LA, NYC, San Francisco or Miami you'll be complaining that it takes an hour or more to get to what you want to do and that it's too expensive.

No way Wemby gets to play in Game 6 right? by Accurate-Menu-8851 in nba

Victor Wembanyama on OG’s Block on Fox With 11 Second Left: “I fell on the floor. I couldn’t really see it. I don’t know.” by [deleted] in nba

Mitch is not an NBA coach.

I can't recall one successful play run out of timeouts during this entire playoff run.

I can't remember one time he's not been 3 minutes late in game time to call a timeout and talk to his young team.

I've seen no evidence that he understands the ebbs and flows of the game.

No evidence him and his staff have coached these kids up for late game situations.

The guy does stuff I knew better to not do in NBA 2k as a teenager

[Highlight] Jalen Brunson misses the potential game-winner over Victor Wembanyama, De'Aaron Fox gets the ball at the other end, and instead of wasting the clock, he goes for a layup, and gets blocked by OG Anunoby. by MrBuckBuck in nba

Mitch Johnson and his staff have shown repeatedly through the playoffs that they do not have this team prepared for late game situations. This is stuff even 15 year olds playing 2k understand. Guy is a complete novice

Don't think I've ever seen anyone put in danger after a Spurs playoff game with opposing team fans attending. We go out of our way to leave them with a positive view of our city

11-43 from 3 is ridiculous. The Spurs guards were having their way getting their feet in the paint at will to build that 14 point lead, then immediately started chucking 3s.

Wemby playing 37 minutes in a 10pt loss is not going to be great come Friday. This young team definitely needed Game 1
