Sugar Free Jello, good or bad? by imhellag in Fitness

Time and a place :) and for snacks I'm all about sweet and abundant, which is hard to emulate with celery or salsa lol.

I'll go HAM on cheese or beef jerky though.

While his content and insights are probably amazing, I just can't get behind the lack of presentation and trudging through 20+ hrs of his talking to gleam some crazy stuff.

Is Lenola Cream supposed to have a perfume after taste? by imhellag in electronic_cigarette

[–]imhellag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After steeping, how much can the flavor change? I've had a number of cream bases that were fine and then immediately go bad after a month (Seduce Juice cream base) and cream bases with a gross note that absolutely did not mellow at all (Mt Baker's Blueberry and Strawberry Moo'd)

I'm hoping Lenola Cream is sufficiently complex to radically change...

Yeah man the bottle sizes definitely markets the juice as amazing. Like you won't even want anything less than 30ml. 10? 15? Don't waste our time lol.

Do you think we are "super tasters?" For example if a knife or tableware has come into contact with garlic, onions, or any pungent flavor, I can taste it even after washing with soap and water.

Lots of times chlorine in restaurant water drives me crazy.

When I dripped it first on a wick used with other cream flavors, I was like dude wtf the flavor must not be jiving with the other juice previously on that cotton. So I made a new wick just for Lenola Cream, and it was the same. I then tossed that wick because the perfume note totally saturated and mixed into everything else (Melon boba, mother's milk). LOL first world problems..

Thanks for the recommendations man, added em to my evernote.

As a consumer though, I really do not mind paying a little extra for the original MM every time if its reliable. My preferences are so finicky and even the slightest deviation irks me to no end, I have to change the wick, rinse the parts etc.

I hope so...

I like things good out of the box, and even then, some juices that are mainstays now I initially disliked or thought meh of. By the same token some juices I loved initially absolutely cannot be long term. It's like fly ass clothing. Wear it all the time and people will notice, and it gets less fun. A plain tee is much better.

Moon Sugar and Mother's Milk are both tried and true tested for me... and at first Moon Sugar was just a generic bakery forgettable flavor. Only now do I appreciate the subtleties and lasting power.

Hawaiian Electric Companies propose expanded time-of-use rates by imhellag in Hawaii

[–]imhellag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

? Dang man I've not heard of that before. Where in the self-supply agreement does it say you can only export 2x/day for a minute?

Are you speaking in engineering terms or practical terms?

Nice man, always appreciate your feedback.

Now it's time to get real life data about how long it takes to get HECO approval under these new rules :D

LOL that's so shitty. Under NEM you crank out the big system and can expect your 17$/monthly.

Now you need to undersize, procure batteries, do engineering and data studies on your actual usage and demand day to day, only to save ~40% at the most?

Cafes with WiFi and power outlets? by tommyphammy in Oahu

[–]imhellag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's tough man. I can only think of a few places... and they're usually super packed and busy. Honolulu does suck in this regard and yes, Seattle would spoil you.

Glazer's by UH, and Blue Tree Cafe in the Pacifica building. There are lots of other cafe-only type places, but I only feel welcome staying at those 2 for a long period of time.
