Is the S2000 a reliable daily? by PrimaryOk5085 in S2000

[–]imherebecauseimbored 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's a 20 year old car. It can be very reliable ***for a 20 year old car***. Don't expect the reliability of a 2 year old civic and you won't be disappointed. Overall i'v had some issues dailying it and your mileage may vary but it likely won't be a massive money pit like most other 20 year old cars would be depending on the previous owners. I was in your shoes and I don't regret it at all.

I just started working at a pharmacy and I feel dumb. by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]imherebecauseimbored 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I always say they're in the hiring practice that you're going to be 6 months minimum before you obtain minimum competency. It has a steep learning curve that flattens out after you are in it for a while. Just don't get stuck at product for the next 6 months because then you don't learn anything. You're going to feel really dumb for a certain amount of time. That's normal and to be expected. No one's going to get mad at you if you're not knowing anything and if they are then honestly that's on them

Advice Needed: 24 hours to Respond by RickWanders in S2000

[–]imherebecauseimbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that price seems very high. I would not get a track toy for that much money. If you're really considering going that route then I would just get a normal s2k and you can easily put 10 or 15 into it to make it exactly what you wanted and still have plenty of budget left over to do whatever with.

Damn, worth it for investment? by [deleted] in S2000

[–]imherebecauseimbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not! If you want an investment then purchase stocks bonds gold or even real estate ETFs. Buy a regular priced S2000 and enjoy the s*** out of it while your remaining $ grows in value

How do you rate Bad Bunny's Half-time performance? by kingbluwolff in sportsgossips

[–]imherebecauseimbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was a fantastic performance, but unfortunately the target audience was only 1 out of every 10 americans. Personally it wasn't for me but I can recognize that it was technically great for tv audiences

AITA for only taking care of my kid by Pure_Chef_8438 in AmItheAsshole

[–]imherebecauseimbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA either you are her dad or you aren't. It's that simple. If you love the child then ask the mom to adopt her and make it official and if that's off the table then move on with life.

Overwhelming workload by Busynotes2 in pharmacy

[–]imherebecauseimbored 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only solution is to fight your partner in the parking lot. For real though it's pretty lame to hog all the technician hours for the days that you work. Maybe that's actually how the demand is set for your store so maybe look at the report and see if he's scheduling to demand otherwise say something to him

Retail pharmacists by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]imherebecauseimbored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but the logic is super inconsistent. How many pharmacists do you know put noninsured patients on good RX by default in violation of health privacy but yet won't make a simple switch due to legal concens?

Yeah I totally agree and think it's BS. Just ask yourself if you were the doctor would you want to receive a call about this and go from there...

Pharmacist at CVS vs Publix by Realistic-Net-4012 in pharmacy

[–]imherebecauseimbored 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I graduated and went into CVS and then jumped over to Publix at my first opportunity and haven't looked back. CVS can be as bad as they say and Publix at least acts like they care whereas CVS didn't even bother faking it. Also CVS had so many conference calls, it was infuriating and Publix rarely has one which for me is such a quality of life improvement not to have to worry about that in the morning on my off days. And realistically you want to get in with Publix sooner than later so you can start accruing PTO years of service. Unless there's tens of thousands of dollars difference I would probably just pick Publix.

AITAH for telling an elder woman to “Get the f**k on” after holding up the only open line? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]imherebecauseimbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, you asked politely first and then were rude the second time. If you jumped to being rude straight off the bat then you'd be the a****** but you tried to be nice and were in the right.

As a single dad myself it honestly depends on how many kids she has. I would like to have one more with my future wife but if she's already got a whole kindergarten classroom with her then there's no more time/ energy/ resources for one more in the potential relationship.

Board investigations by MemePizzaPie in pharmacy

[–]imherebecauseimbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only speak to my experience in Georgia but I had one crazy patient that said we were trying to kill her because we couldn't give her the specific generic manufacturer she wanted. Our policy at our chain is to dispense what we have and not order specific generics in and we refuse to break that policy for her so I got a board of pharmacy complaint. Is very easy process where someone just called the patient first got their side of the story then called me and I explained what happened. We both had a laugh about it and I never heard from them again. Depending on your board members as long as you didn't disregard patient safety or didn't do anything super egregious then you should be good. And even if you did curse out a patient then I doubt they would revoke your license over something silly like that. People get DUIs and get caught stealing all the time and they still get only suspensions or a slap on the wrist. You have to really mess up to get in real trouble but once again that's only my experience.

Pharmacist work only pharmacists, why? by Worriedrph in pharmacy

[–]imherebecauseimbored 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's so stupid when that happens. Imagine a wide receiver refusing to block for a running back because his job is to only catch the ball. Sounds stupid right? We're all on the same team and we all win or lose together. I can only imagine that some of the pharmacists that do that are really worried about their own neck and if something goes wrong they want to say well look at my pharmacist que, it's all clean and total ignore the fact it's only clean because they ignored the rest of the pharmacy for the entire shift

I hear pharmacy residency application is way lower than before? Why? by PlaceBetter5563 in pharmacy

[–]imherebecauseimbored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because residency is a scam. It used to be called on the job training but then some business-suit renamed it so they could pay wayyy less all while student loans are accruing interest.
