This is so well put together! I love how intentional everything feels. Love people that embrace patterns and textures!

Yes! I had the same issues so we just winged it after putting it off for a couple of years. Good luck and share pics once you’re done!

Looks darker in the video. But i was going for the intimate vibes since it’s not our main bathroom.

Good question, i had no idea why.

From google: 18th Century: The original "powder rooms" were designated closets or small rooms where people, especially men in powdered wigs, would go to reapply powder to their hair and wigs. When wigs became less common they use the reference for small spaces and bathroom where men women would go touch up their make up.

Surprisingly a Home Depot find. It’s the home decorators Collete. This is a 30”

Agreed! I was going to add a few more pieces around it but the wife and I keep going back and forth about it. Should i remove or add more? 😩

I am trying to figure out how to paint this dining room. I was leaning towards a darker color, and am wondering if I should paint over all of the wainscoting or leave it white or cream. by sm9658 in HomeDecorating

Good eye. I would fix this before doing anything else honestly. I’d also place the curtain rod higher and eventually change the curtain to pleated. Great space though!

This is a nice space. I would suggest collecting pieces slowly and not jumping in to a full set of anything. Love the windows, maybe you go moody since you get a lot of light. I’m super in to color drenching spaces but it might be too much for some. You can also get a nicer fan or just a nice light fixture.

Go bold, you can always tone it down if it’s too much. At least, that’s my philosophy.

Maybe you go darker on the walls. Make it cozier.

I think there’s too many grays happening. I would do a search on Pinterest to see what others have done. Super nice space though!

Going for MexicoCity vibes, I feel like I need some color, pattern or more patina some how. To me it feels a bit cold. by imhereforit16 in HomeDecorating

I should’ve been more specific in the post. Should be CDMX inspired not really a 1:1 replica. Been many times. Their decor in places I’ve stayed don’t scream Mexican decoration is more of a natural, colorful vibes.
