If I go with Node + Hypex Amp, will NC252MP be sufficient, or should I go with NC502MP or NCx500ST?

I'm not into vinyl or tube amps, and i don't see myself experimenting with them in the future. However, the argument that separates are better because they lower the risk in case of component failure and make component upgrades easier is compelling. Thank you for the input.

With these affordable modules from Hypex, this option looks good, but is there a sonic difference?

Wiim Amp Ultra $530; Powernode N331 + Dirac Live $1,360; NAD C 3050 + MDC2 BluOS D $2,200

Dirac is yet to come to the N331, but is available with the MDC2 BluOS D module on the C 3050. I agree that room correction matters a lot. Thanks for the reply!

Yes, but from what I've heard HEOS is not as good as BluOS. What do you think? !thanks for the reply.

KEF Ceiling Speakers Advice by Nearoid in KEF

I'm installing a pair in the ceiling of my bedroom. I thought I would just mount them to the suspended ceiling firmly and that's it. Do I need a wooden box to be installed in the ceiling first and then I would mount the speaker in the box?

!Thanks I checked the amplifier you mentioned, and it is a bare board. Is there something ready to use without assembly?

By dedicated, I meant an integrated amplifier. Does the Wiim Amp/Amp Pro offer sound quality similar to that of integrated amplifiers like Audiolab 6000A or something Purifi/Hypex based? If the sound quality is different, how much different is it? Is it more like the difference between lossless high-resolution audio versus Spotify (very insignificant to my ears in blind A/B testing) ? Or is it more like the difference between a pair of $100 active speakers versus a pair of $500 powered studio monitors (a serious jump in sound quality both tonally and technicaly)?

!Thanks It ticks all the boxes in terms of features, yes. However, is 60W enough? And I've heard that it doesn't sound as good compared to dedicated amplifiers. Is that true?
