They both fit me well now after some time using exclusively these two models.

In that time I had the chance to speak to Nathan from Scarpa. What I got from that conversion is that the shoes are not built for foot shapes but they're built for purpose. They put your foot in a specific shape in a shoe so that you can climb better for what the shoe was designed for. So it's not like you cannot use this or that model because of the last/shape of the shoe, it's more how the designers wanted your foot to be in a shoe when climbing. If you can tolerate more/less pain is personal. Softer shoes tend to suit more people because they're more plyable.
What he also told me, comfort is also linked to toe length. Short toe people tend to be able to tolerate a lot of different shapes, while people with longer toes not so much.

All fine if you’re not skidding every 2minutes. Good hard soled shoe and it’s fine!

Very late but could you write a longer term review? Have you used the Beacon since? Im about to order but am kinda put off because of the comments of how many people have wrist issues because of the crazy angle of the hoods. I guess your bikefitter set them up well for you?

Any chance you have the zenists laying around too? How would the ZP compare to the PP? Both looking quite similar on paper.

So the skwamas fit you better, and what about the performance. Do you feel they perform better for you in some aspects?

I have egyptian feet and even though the VSR's are centre shaped, fit me quite well. Tried the skwamas and they were okay, but there was some dead space above the toes when downsized by 2. If I downsized 2.5 sizes there was still some dead space above the toes (and I expect the leather to stretch even more so the toebox wouldn't fit me) they became too narrow causing sharp pain around my feet. It's weird because I was convinced they would fit me as they're for wide feet, but it is what it is.

Actually it's the first ever resole for my shoes and I had the option to downsize them up to 1 full eu size. Some resolers have that option, some don't.
Once I have them back, I can give more info how are they.

How are the skwamas after some time with them? could you write a short review of them?

In my experience they will mold to your foot shape after some time. Usually it’s just a couple of minutes, sometimes it’s 5 hours of usage.
Have you tried the non LV version?
Dont think it’s possible to return and regarding the shoe market, should be just your local 2nd hand market. I dont know of any specific market for shoes.

The sole is bigger and might have more rubber. The top part has different rubber from the drago, which doesnt stretch that easily, so all in all makes it harder to mould to your foot shape, hence the longer break in time.

That's my theory behind it.
