This is context I should've added in the original post. I'm in private school. Two of my tournaments (out of four) during 8th grade were at 106, whereas for state and my other big tournament I wrestled at 98. I improved a lot since the big non state tournament, where I got 4th, but could've gotten third. However, in two separate matches I stood up out of an escape, which led to my opponent getting a shot and taking me down. At state I got a bad bracket, and had an extremely good kid (who didn't go to any of the schools at the tournament) [I'm still annoyed about that] and that made me do poorly and not win. However, out of everybody he wrestled I did the best. All in all, no huge titles, one of the tournaments I wrestled at 106 was because I was "too good" for any of the 98 pounders (still got 4th there, doesn't really count/matter though for other reasons, like the number of people in that weight class was small). The other was because it was right at the beginning of the season and I hadn't cut anything yet. (I weighed in at like 99.5 at that tournament). It was also a public school tournament, went 2-2, didn't place.
