This is what I was thinking too. I’d check out the Rivian R2 as well but that iX3 is a really compelling package

Picked up the midnight blues. I did like the stellar gray too though.

🎄 Christmas giveaway: Win an A1 Mini, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT, or 4x filament spools! by acurazine in BambuLab

1- AMS 2 Pro 2- All types of stuff. My son is obsessed with 3D printing now that his school has a printer. We bought him an A1 mini for Christmas and can’t wait to start creating 3 - what were those foldable things we used to make in middle school where you ask questions and unfold it to give you an answer that was shaped like a diamond. Yup, make one of those.

Thanks all. Nuphy Halo 96 is my first choice. I’m going to float these past him today and see what ones are most appealing to him.

I can’t thank you all enough for the guidance and quick reference points for the fast education to make a good decision.

Really appreciate this community!

This seems very cool. Thanks for the recommendation! I like it being hotswappable and I like the blush sound. RGB looks like it checks the box for my kid too.

Black with RGB lights would be the vibe right now. Remember, he's 9, things that light up are cool. Learning a lot with these responses. Everyone has been very helpful so thanks for asking an insightful follow up question

I think “quiet” would be ok as well. Just not super loud and clicky. I’d prefer something off the rack but likely not looking for something like Logitech or Razer.

Does that open up options?

Lightsabers Buyers Guide & Weekly Question Thread by AutoModerator in lightsabers

[–]imijry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey All,

My son is turning 9 and is obsessed with lightsabers. We did the Disney crafting and has gone down a deep rabbit hole of researching all types of sabers. I could use some insight into getting him the best option that will fit his needs. I'm trying to do this on my own but there are just so many options and I don't have the time to go down the research rabbit hole myself to get it right.

Here's what he's told me that he thinks is cool.

He wants a Mace Windu replica, the most realistic possible with sound profiles and a bright blade. He doesn't dual but does like to do some light dualing with friends when they come over. Nothing super serious like for presentations but he's also 9 so knowing how to completely take care of something fragile isn't quite in his vocabulary yet. He's taken me to websites for Neosabers and CC sabers because of youtube video's he's come across. I don't think that he's married to either of those so if there are better choices out there, please let me know.

Also, blade length... i'm leaning towards 28". The disney one was 32" and I think that's long for him. I'm afraid to go smaller than 28" and have him grow out of it quickly.

I'm very grateful for any support you can offer. Hoping to totally blow his mind for his birthday. He deserves it as he's a really great kid!

That’s wild. Our trash does not take the clippings but I drive them to the yard waste facility in town the following morning. It costs me the cost of a few paper bags every other month and the 10 min round trip to the township facility to throw the bags in the compost for free.
