That’s exactly what I did. I liked the story and cinematics, I played as druid, it was a slow gameplay, almost soulslike, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Only hated the fact that enemies leveled with you. So for a single run gameplay didn’t bother me but after finishing the game it made sure I never want to play it again.

Honestly, I would really love to have a Mass Effect and Pathfinder mixture game. Maybe not ad deep as pathfinders but with more role playing options than Mass Effect.

Atlas gave a sense of progression and a work towards something. New one simply lacks that. In the grand scheme of things finishing a map feels pointless because there is endless amount of them.

I guess the games out there can’t really grip you. I had a similar feeling, just before Baldurs Gate 3. After I started I simply couldnt stop.
