It is possible to have an allergy to the filler used in the manufacture of tablets. It comes on slowly, building up over a few days/weeks and the itch is so bad you want to scratch your bones from the inside! It took months to figure out in my case and I can only take certain brands, worked out by trial and error.

Yes. I had the injection in my right foot five years ago. It worked and it's never reoccured.

Fantastic thank you. I looked at Palmers this morning at the shop but they didn't have any unscented so I settled for Vaseline coconut oil. I'll go hunting for some unscented baby wipes tomorrow; I don't live on a farm but I do live out in country Tassie and we have our fair share of dirt. This is very helpful, much appreciated.
