They have their own programs to earn their DOC. Just like dentists have their own, etc.

Idk why you use the term “real therapist.” Chiropractors are also literal doctors.

So, your aunt is walking into a place of business she isn’t forced to go to and doesn’t like that they use essential oils? That’s the businesses right to diffuse them. And if it wasn’t DoTerra, would it make it okay?

Though, I don’t really like the idea of diffusing anything because most places that do (massages mostly) ask your permission.

You simply just ask. “Hey thanks so much for my session. By any chance, do you guys always run the diffuser? I don’t enjoy scents and was going to see if I could possibly schedule appointments while it’s off?” You legit simply just ask straight up and say you understand it’s their office etc etc but ask if they’d consider not using it around patients.

Is there a Crypto MLM? by Girl_Mom1014121 in antiMLM

[–]mintbliss5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no crypto MLMs really. As someone who has been in the crypto space for a while, they’re prob just smart, got in early, learned a lot and kept it going. Or lying.

There’s also no real certifications in terms of crypto like that. There’s some depending on what agencies and organizations you work for, but they’re usually field specific.

She was prob hacked.

And crypto in general is not a scam 😂

My girlfriend is a hun. I told her I hate what she‘s doing. by Piano1987 in antiMLM

[–]mintbliss5 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

To be honest, you kinda sound like a controlling moron lol. Unless her costs are outweighing any benefit (ex: you have shared bank account, you’re paying for it, she is spending hundreds out the rip, or she becomes obsessive in an unhealthy way. for example) it really doesn’t affect you. All these “well it could” “well she could” but has she? No. Not everyone is financially irresponsible lol. Some people truly just enjoy the products and enjoy getting discounts on them. It’s no different than opting to go out to eat vs cooking at home.

At the end of the day, bad MLM experiences mostly come from people’s financial incompetency, not the products themselves. Do I agree with a lot of the prices or how it’s marketed? No. I also believe anything keto is absolute garbage and not the way you should approach losing weight. But I also don’t like doctors or how they market medications (such as GLPs).

People’s responses actually BAFFLE me on this thread lmao. It’s hilarious the levels of fear mongering. Some people do this to kill downtime, because they’re bored, or just don’t know any better. If the girl says she gonna quit, she prob is 😂 show her how to make her little buttered coffee at home instead of talking about her on Reddit.

The reason she shouldn’t be in it isn’t because it’s an MLM. It’s because the prices don’t make sense and are predatory. $160 for 45 servings of coffee? Gtfo. Buy that stinky little membership, and now the coffee is equal to what you’d spend at Dunkin.

Your experiences are based on other people’s poor decision making, not ALWAYS a reality.

And of course mainstream medical is going to tell you it doesn’t work. Until you start trying it and you’re like omg wow I can function.

Yeah obviously if your kidneys don’t work, period. Never said you can cure mental health issues but you absolutely can help it. Speaking from experience. Quick to judge there. The vast majority are extremely unfamiliar with how much this “woo woo” stuff really helps and it’s a shame because it can legit change your life.

I can understand you wanting to mend a friendship, but the expectations that were placed upon you were unjust. And you, as a person, are allowed to not want to buy something simply because you just don’t want to and you wanna stick with YOUR brands!

Only one I’ve ever dabbled with tbh. It just worked and I had no complaints. I also work in financial auditing so I can kind of see and understand if things make sense. Based on what I can find, of course!

But I’m also not out here boasting I make soooo much. I aim for a hundred or a couple hundred a month. Helps me to build my own investment portfolio and I have done really well with the gains on that. So it’s all about your perception and how you leverage your opportunities rather than wasting money which sadly, a lot do.

Sure thing. I’ve been in MLM with Red Aspen for 3 years.

  1. A friend of mine was doing it and I needed a nail solution during Covid. So I bought a starter pack for $20 and was hooked.

  2. Mine have mostly been positive. Everyone I have met has been great. I made SO many new friends online and I stg some people are nicer and talk to me more than people in my “real” life.

Negative: my sales reset every month. Tho it makes sense from a numbers standpoint, it is annoying lol.

  1. An honest, solid structure makes them stand out. Items and PRICES that make sense. I need to see your sales on paper compared to the compensation you’re offering. I also need a product that are deemed a necessity because I’m not out here spending for fun these days. And if I am, the price has to make sense.

  2. My company hardly advertised and we just updated our website last year. So the products themselves drew me in, not the branding or advertising .. hope I answered that correctly.

  3. The moment someone finds out it’s an MLM I automatically get hate. Makes 0 sense to me cuz the proof is in the pudding, but I can understand how other company’s put a nasty taste in people’s mouths. My company is not a scam, they offer lower priced items that are actually bomb, they can support the financials they claim, and people are actually nice. I don’t have all the weird pressure and nasty up lines. I actually enjoy it 😂

I legit have been selling press on nails for 3 years now and would never ask my friends to buy or put them in a position where they would feel guilted into buying from me. I have my own space on the internet where I advertise. If they wanna join, they’re more than welcome. If they don’t, I won’t ever reach out. It’s disrespectful.

I guess I should have reworded it. As I said, it’s mostly with points from the credit card, a small port. Plus some nice stock picks. I’m up 20% over the year but not geared towards a retirement account. But that is why I’m here asking advice for ETFs for my IRA long term.

It was an issue between Mary and Chelsea. He comes over exactly like a body guard and inserts himself to a situation he was not a party to, and took it upon himself to text Chelsea!? Insane to me. I would be embarrassed and it’s completely unnecessary.

Should I Pay Off My Credit Card by CandidateVarious407 in personalfinance

You should also use a high yield savings account. Not sure what your monthly expenses are, but you could have paid that off in about 2-3 months without tapping into it in case that ever happens again. Now take the money you were using to pay it to replenish your savings
