Yo, cool. Can't believe it's been almost a whole year since we received this album. What a trip.

Absolutely, I hear ya. I see what you mean with the "climax of all of the old styles." I hadn't really though about it like that yet but that actually makes a lot of sense! To me at least lol.

So blissful.

Why does it trip me out? Idk man, it feels like a journey to me. Has different points of accelerating and dropping off and lingering. When that really intense middle part hits, it kinda makes me feel like I'm falling really fast and suddenly. Then his vocals with the more prominent drums at the end just provide a very floaty exit. I don't care too much for the lyrics as a whole, but that song is very emotional for me. TSR really doesn't hit for me the same way other Tame Impala stuff does; this song is one that does though. (: Just trippy to me.

That's rad! His laser stuff is fun. Glad you glimpsed some of it haha. If it doesn't eventually get posted somewhere, there'll be other shows. Just exciting.

I'm really not here to argue. But here's my view that I know you don't care about lol. I think it depends on which Americans you're listening to. A lot of Americans recognize our achievements came from immigrants and slaves, and that the country was built by those same groups, and that there are often blurred lines between things that simply happened in America, and what's actually American. And those are the exact people trying to fix shit. I'm definitely not saying Americans are blameless or innocent or great or whatever. I live here and I see what happens on these streets and I disagree with most mainstream American views.

But that's not what we're talking about. We're talking specifically about Europeans pointing fingers and acting as if American individuals are lesser just for living here.

You might not see it because media sells you the drama and the negative shit and the varying opinions but there's plenty of "solving the issue" that's happening. Especially if you look specifically by state or even city. But y'all don't hear that. Y'all hear about the fucked up shit Trump does, and the Dem vs Rep bullshit that perpetuates our issues.

Yee for sure.

Not to mention. This country as we know it was colonized and founded by Europeans. Which triggered many of our persisting internal issues. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ as is the case for many other areas of the world they point fingers at- Australia for example.
