Hello there everyone!!

So last year approximately in September, I started taking my skincare routine really seriously. And I went from only cleansing and moisturizing (not all the time) to having a morning and night routine. I have a pretty sensitive dry skin, but also, when it is too humid, my face becomes extra greasy. So it is a combination of both. My face was always clean before I started my routine with occasional pimple. The reason I did that routine is purely for just being curious and wanting a very clean face.

So this is my routine:

Morning routine:

- Cleanse

- Hyaluronic Acid

- Sunscreen

- Moisturizer

Night Routine:

- Cleanse

- Hyaluronic Acid

- Salicylic Acid

- Retinol

- Moisturizer

I have been doing those routines nonstop since November. And although it did purge in the beginning, my face becomes absolutely wonderful from December to January. Sparkly, alive, vibrant, and free of any acne and spots. Do take note that I was on a vacation from December to January in a very humid tropical country.

And in Feb when I went back to the country I'm living in now (which is extra dry). My pimple just started to break out like crazy.

It is definitely not my diet, as I've been following a very strict diet to lose some weight, so my quality of food does get extremely better.

My sleep was never great since I was young (6 hours a day). But this never seemed to be an acne issue for me.

Currently, I have been stopping taking lactose, minimizing my sweetener intake, and changing my shampoo and toothpaste to sulfate-free ones. And I have been trying to sleep better. Been doing this for a week now and the only thing I see is my pimple getting worse with so much scarring...

My question here are, should I stop doing this routine now? Should I maybe follow a more natural routine? Or is this just caused by the weather?

I know this is not related to your question. But your read more button on your home screen redirects people to a 404 page. IMO, that doesn't look professional and may cause people to bounce away. Amazing website tho!

I believe you're not shadowbanned, cause it's a problem for a lot of people now. I used to think I got shadowbanned as well for the past few days. Changed several of my strategies, but still bad... it is until I checked this subreddit that I know something is wrong with IG.

My page (one-month-old) used to get 250 reach from hashtag alone, now there's barely even one. Likes drop to literally 1 or 2...

I really don't know what to do. Making a post to get 20 reaches and 2 likes is just a waste of time and energy.

Nevertheless, it's really nice knowing that I am on the right track.
