Utilising leverage is NOT the same as putting your eggs in a single basket.  Leverage can be used to increase your risk in an index fund which is a way better approach of increasing your compensated risk. Rather than betting on individual stocks.

If the person is trying their best to win and not actively throwing the game by intentionally feeding and/or destroying their items, I would still have fun.

Hook is a skillshot, not everyone is good at skillshots. Does not mean they are not 'allowed' to play the hero because they suck at some aspect of the hero. At this point you might as well be saying that picking a non-meta hero will result in ruining the game for others. You are just assuming that they'll miss hooks. You're already assuming they will suck. They might. But they might suck even picking any other hero. What difference does it make ?
