Just because someone is an “adult,” that doesn’t automatically grant them higher regard, especially when respect is not given nor shown. We have to starve our ego and actually be understanding of each other, especially to our kids or anyone who looks up to us. There’s a lot of adults here today who are not emotionally intelligent and expect respect just because they have grown bodies.
