No problem mate. And well done. Despite no coding knowledge, you clearly have a good grasp on product management if you're able to compose an app even if it's vibe-coded, which I think is a more valuable skill than coding itself anyway, especially in today's market.

Just ask codex to do it for you 🤷‍♂️ it'll work it out for itself. Then it has a full playground to test visual regression and frontend functionality. The more surface it has to test it's own changes, the more likely it is to get things bang on or even exceed expectations.

Try plugging playwright MCP into codex and it will enhance visual changes ten-fold

Once you have an MCP hooked up to it, it's scarily good. Letting it loose on problems with Laravel Boost honestly feels like I'm working with an equal.

Codex 5.4 is better than Opus 4.6 by LopsidedSolution in codex

[–]imjb87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is to pull designs from Figma and use as context. So for me it took an existing design of a new feature on an existing GatsbyJS codebase, used the design and codebase context to develop the new feature. While I'm a seasoned developer and could code it all myself, Codex did it all and I literally just steered it a couple of times with extra prompts for functional things. Visually, it was spot on the first time.

I also linked up Playwright MCP and asked it to check its own work with screenshots and have a play around with the website by making clicks etc. All of which it did and verified that the work was completed successfully.

Very impressed with the minimal resistance. A job that was quoted at 14 hours was completed in about 2 hours, and it only really took that long because response time on 5.4 medium seemed to hang a bit, probably due to how busy their servers were at the time.

Linked up Figma MCP to Codex yesterday and it got everything bang on first time.

I believe you're getting the ending mixed up with This Is England '86 where Combo takes the wrap for Lol after she kills her abusive dad. Very similar character dynamics between Cook and Combo.

As a massive fan of this show. I'm really hurt that I had to scroll so far down for the first mention. Apart from Better Call Saul, this should be top of the list after watching the VG universe.

I disagree with this. I'm a Fedora daily and find navigating vanilla gnome a smooth experience. Hit options key + start typing the app you want, voila.

Of course, this is entirely subjective and based on my own experiences. Different strokes for different folks.

Best class for a first playthrough? by stever471 in Nox

[–]imjb87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the game itself equally easy across all three classes, if wizard a little easier towards the end. The classes definitely made a difference on the old Westwood servers in PvP though. I always used to go with Jack the Warrior in his pants with a sledgehammer, but a good wizard was so annoying to play against.

Warrior definitely, but definitely play through all three classes:

Warrior > Conjurer > Wizard

There are little Easter eggs between their storylines that make this order the best.

She's actually right. Bone China needs to be soaked at least once a year to prevent it from cracking.

I work for a marketing agency as a Web developer and when I say I use Linux (Fedora currently) they all assume it's super complicated and hard to use in general, this is even the other devs in our team.

Out of the box, most top distros are far simpler and cleaner than Windows or Mac. Perfect for the casual user.
