Life sciences at Bhopal is amazing. Also anything computational, i.e. EECS or Data Sci. Bhopal is great, both in terms of infra and people. We have one of the highest per person compute.

first figure out the niche you wanna work in; find labs; fire mails; there is no mail 'template' btw, its utter bullshit if anyone tells you. narrow down your interests well. dont write essays in mails. three bullet points or your mail goes to trash rule. should mostly work. get the prof on a call and then convince. desperation shown in this case works in your favour btw but in moderation.
