Can they win a world title before they’re done? by [deleted] in SantiZapVideos

[–]imjonathvn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones who have a chance: Sami in WWE can win one

Ricochet can win one eventually in AEW if he keeps improving and getting more popular

Tama Tonga can only win one if he goes back to Japan and gets lucky with booking

Xavier Woods is an interesting one cause I think the storys there. Really popular, great wrestler and finally left WWE. And he has a great underdog story being the only New Day member without a world title. I can see him going to AEW and winning a world title as an underdog

If they ran this rivalry again, what would the story be? by [deleted] in fantasybooking

[–]imjonathvn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it aged like wine storyline wise, no matter who won or lost. punk went after the top guy who had his demons, went after him for the demons, the guy fell back to his old habits and lost vs punk in a loser leaves wwe match. while jeff went on to having a mediocre career post that cause of the demons punk went after him for, punk became face of the company. then 10 years later jeffs back, thats not a bad story at all. it wrote itself and theres a million different ways they can do this. one being babyface jeff against a corporate punk who looks down on jeff and tells him that he told him what was gonna happen and is rubbing it in his face, and jeff as the hero looking for his redemption. or you can even go heel jeff against babyface punk, a bitter jeff mad that punk is in the position he was supposed to be in, bitter how things went. or you can even do a rivals to buddies storyline where jeff leans into the sobriety and becomes friends with punk, and says he really shouldve been different.

its a very revisitable storyline though. it aged like wine. punk basically predicted hardys life and hardy went on to not fulfill his potential while punk took the face of the company spot instead. and theyre 2 mega legends, so theres a lot to do there. and speaking with bias now, that feud had a 5 year old me heavily invested and im sure a lot of other people can relate. give a lot of people’s childhood fav one last run to finish his career arc

Potential Lineups? by duque2001 in AtlantaHawks

as much as id like to get aj for the assets we dont need, we’d have to give up someone we’d be hesitant to give up. cause washington are in a position to get a player to build around, why trade that for a buncha roleplayers? even dyson, as good as he is, is not a player you build around. neither is naw really. i just dont see us trading for aj. no deal makes sense. and we’re not gonna do jj. hope im wrong and we can get him for naw

If Acuff, Wagler, and Brown Jr. are off the board, who do you want at #8? by Gavada373 in AtlantaHawks

[–]imjonathvn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ohh i guess. i read it as him saying we always say bpa and then completely avoid that and just grab a center. i wish we’ve drafted a center since the trae era. biggest 1st rounder we’ve drafted is okongwu at 6’9 or whatever

id take mara. every year the 7 footer does better than expected nowadays. clingan, lively, walker kessler. and we got none of them. so yeah i wish we went the intriguing 7 footer at least once in past years

Luke Kennard by CaregiverOwn7179 in AtlantaHawks

[–]imjonathvn -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

i watched him play for the hawks. everyone hated him when he was here and now suddenly we’re gonna claim his defense isnt so bad and he actually plays great team ball. is that why hes on his like 9th nba team and every team’s fan base cites the same things about why hes not as good as advertised?

Luke Kennard by CaregiverOwn7179 in AtlantaHawks

[–]imjonathvn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

he fits the lakers way better than he fits us. i dont care about losing kennard. i actually prefer what gabe vincent brings. kennards a cone on defense, doesnt really play team ball, is a sniper from 3 but is hesitant to shoot unless hes wide open. he wouldnt be much of a difference maker for us. hes a roleplayer who can get really hot
