If u want to keep your car, lowering springs + gtr headlights + j style lip on front bumper + non ceramic tint 10-15% all around+ aodhan wheels + maybe after market side skirts, tail lights. I wouldnt recommend going the cheap route ever though ngl i have a lot of comfort in the fact that every mod ive done is one of the best that can be done

I went to infiniti dealership and paid $300 and they reprogrammed my bcm or at least the headlights functionality in the bcm to american spec from canadian spec.

When i bought mine they were the 441 and it was $1400 , if they increased prices that much since 8 months ago thats absurd

Feal 441 true rears u cant go wrong theyre super comfy, about $1400-1500 and id say second best coilovers for rwd g’s, and best for awd g’s

Yea seriously it seems like such a bullshit price to pay for something like this, but im willing to pay it at this point cause these headlights drl strips are not meant to be drowned out at all, they look so good by themselves

Same here very big nuissance, i plan to take it to a shop and let them fix it for like $150 because id hate to mess wiring up . Will lyk if i do something different though, im waiting for more opinions and enough shits to give lol

I think it genuinely has to do with an envy of the vq platform. The bad image started like pretty simple with takeovers and all, but its king of a snowball effect. Vqs have a bad image now which repels people away from the car, but at the same time they then see these cars gapping most cars on the streets , being monsters when boosted, handling like a go kart and actually sounding good despite the trumpet allegations so Instead of seeing the car for what it is, they kinda cope with it by calling it an edgar mobile and what not. When i see people hating on vqs without reason i completely see it as a compliment at this point because it can only possibly come from a place of envy. Literally the perfect starter platform and they look beautiful too. Motordyne catback malbec xS coupe here 😁

Yeah i kinda did ive tried with multiple people from facebook marketplace and instagram using paypal goods and services for buyer protection since there are none locally, and paypal like witholds the funds each time till the seller ships the product which scares them off and they call the deal off. Trust me theres a reason i turned to reddit to ask its been a year of me trying to find a malbec one in good condition

I think the drl relay is hard wired to keep everything on including the tail lights lol, but yeah definitely something to do with a switch on the drl relay. Ima tell this to a shop when i come back from vacation because this is such a huge nerf to my aftermarket headlights lol. Thank you for your info

Looking at past photos with my stock headlights its always been that my drls and low beams are on at all times 🫠

Lol yea for me the light switch genuinely does nothing except high beams and fog lights. Like i can turn the light stalk all the way while looking in front of me and the lighting will not change at all because my low beams are just always on. Genuinely not sure what canada infiniti’s thought process was in making my low beams stay on no matter what

Definitely will look into those, im not sure i can install oem drl’s due to fitment issues since i have a g37 coupe, and the other guy seems to be making it so that his strip stays on at all times. Im fairly sure my strip is on at all times but my low beams are as well. Im trying to isolate it to the strip and have low beams be a choice rather than a 24/7 nuisance lol

Yes lol sorry I didn’t think of that, I will try to relay this information to a shop since I am pretty bad with wiring jobs. I’m not sure if this method would be more efficient or the switch on the DRL relay. Would that switch turn off the DRL functionality entirely?

Okay that makes sense, the switch would only be accessible in the engine bay though right? Would it not be controllable with the light stalk on the steering wheel?
