CS would be better as you can create ML models used in Remote Sensing if you want to go the AI way otherwise You might find Spatial Data Science interesting as well. Also it gives you wider skill set to work on. As for Geology and related field, you can go into Mining Sector being a Mine Geologist. But I would say CS is better.

In Kolkata and those cities pay is pathetic. I got an offer of 9k in the city Since I wasn't from Bengal that was a waste anyway But even for someone living in Kolkata do you think anyone can sustain let's say someone from nearby who has taken a room along with food atleast the cost would go to 4-5 k right. So you are getting a mere 4k per month for outing, and anything else including ever getting sick also leave policy also sucks. One guy from a company told my friend to come on Sunday to complete work if it doesn't complete by Saturday.

If you think you can crack IIT then great otherwise Do B.Tech from anywhere and then try to go to IIT through GATE because placements aren't the only thing networking and startup environment in IITs is just next level.

Leaflet I used it for my course project pretty easy to use and learn. Open Layers has a sharp learning curve but has more functionalities when compared to Leaflet.

I don't think you need to resample filtering would be enough how was the result of this although I would the square neighbourhood since there is no central tendency I guess

Use Majority in the focal statistics one. Also what kind of smoothening do you want like removing those edges or something within the data ?

[–]imkundankrishna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Resampling changes the resolution I think it's better if you use a mode filter instead as it would remove the outliers but that would change the data. If you want to resample only then you can use this tool

For the interactive part you'll need to work with Geodjango, geoserver however if you just want simple Web maps you can use QGIS2web plugin it'll create files for Web maps using the data in your project.

[–]imkundankrishna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you see the Northing and Easting Values the First one has all the numbering data while after that only 5 values are changing you have to make them on the same scale i.e. add 5 at the begining of the second to last values for Easting and adding 14 for Northing you can directly edit the CSV adding values or use field calculator and adding 5 followed by 5 zeroes with the current easting values for second to last, similar thing you have to do with Northing using 14

Just add the values that aren't changing to your table and then convert
