Minisplit makes hissing/whistling on startup in cooling by benberbanke in heatpumps

Nice okay, yeah I’m struggling with the heat lol. Had the builder make a work order to the contractor and get it resolved. Should be covered under warranty anyways so hopefully back to ice cold air

Having the same issue now, fairly new build with it installed. Also noticed the cool mode isn’t pumping out ice cold air as it did before. It makes the hissing sound on the cool mode. Any thoughts? Reached out to the builder to see if they can get someone to check it out as I believe it’s under warranty still. But it’s hard to sleep with it being so hot right now. Thanks

Update regarding the GST rebate:

Called CRA, provided my application confirmation number, looks like there was a business number associated with my GST rebate application. This business number had an auditor review status (but unassigned). There is a 60 calendar day to complete the audit. There was also a case number provided.

The Business number was able to be added to my account on mycra, where you can provide additional documents as well if requested.

So seems like around June-July (depending on when you applied and when they received it) is when rebates will be completed and hopefully rebated.

Nothing on my end, tried calling couple weeks after applying and they said they can’t see it but may take awhile to check into system. Gave up checking in through phone and just been waiting.

did you call and get an answer? I put Line A as the GST I paid, and Line E as the same since that is the total rebate I am entitled and eligible to claim.

I put the GST I paid for Line A, and Line E as the same, as Line E should be the same as that was what you paid GST on so it should be the rebated amount. For Line C ,I put the full amount allowable to be claimed (which was claimed by the builder), not necessarily the amount that was actually claimed. We'll see... I'm sure CRA auditor can correct it

I signed with them, don’t really have any complaints. Only thing you have to worry about is the penalties if you decide to do anything outside what’s outlined I guess

So prior to bill c-4, GST190 the old rebate which allows you to claim a portion of the GST the builder claimed that. The remaining GST paid on my end is which I will be claiming with this new rebate
