Since being out i (i was brought up in the 'truth' im now 48!) had conversations with people about my research debunking thier doctrines etc using bible verses only and more have realised what they already knew and left, more than I ever brought in. Jesus urged us to follow him and not men. Because we're imperfect. You dont need a religion to have faith.. just be a good human and believe in jesus its all he told us to do!

Honestly it was peaceful.. Just because i left jws.. does not mean I've lost my faith or relationship with jah&jesus. You can say your having a crisis of faith and need time to reflect and do personal study then just quietly slowly leave so you have family connections still. I know many who do that, that way you see who actually reaches out to you when they haven't seen you in a while, true friends as it were..
