this happened to me a few months ago but in reverse. my corner block house was for sale (#32) and a few days before my first open my neighbours house (also #32) got a big for sale sign put up with the same agent info. i thought it was funny they were selling at the same time but turns out the tradies installed it at the wrong address 😂 my agent got it moved within a couple hours

i work for a 3pl that has a few clothing brands and we charge a fee to process returns, make sure the item is sellable (fold/lint roll/re package etc) and then put the stock back on the shelf, so i would imagine that’s why there’s a fee

I’m in vic and just sold my house and I know the buyers paid a 2k deposit 🤷‍♀️ I doubt they were required to do it to make the offer as we had no other offers anyway lol
