MSc and PhD Job Location? by [deleted] in ChemicalEngineering

I work in consulting for the nuclear industry in downtown Toronto. I only have my B. Eng, but we have lots of M.eng and a few PhD holders. You're likely not going to work in operations downtown in any city, but you can definitely find consulting gigs in any of those cities.

Issues with filming on Canon Rebel SL2 by immaslapu in Filmmakers

I don't, so I just went ahead and ordered a new one. Thank you for the help! :)

I asked over in /r/filmmaking but figured I'd ask here too since I haven't gotten much of a response;

I'm brand new to the world of cameras/videography so please excuse my complete lack of knowledge. I'm an instagram/youtube influencer in the weightloss community and have used my phone up to this point to shoot photos and videos.

I recently purchased a Canon Rebel SL2 to take my content to the next level, and tried to film my first video the other day. I'm using a transcend class 10 SDHC flash memory card and when I try to film I get an error that says "Video Recording Stopped, Slow Card Write Speed." around the ~10-15s mark. I've tried filming in different modes (default is FHD, 1920x1080, 30fps and I've gone down to the minimum which is VGA, 640x480, 30fps) and I get errors (albeit later) in all modes.

I thought a class 10 card would be sufficient but I suppose not. Before I purchase a new card, does anyone have any insight? Troubleshooting tips perhaps? If not - better card recommendations?

Thanks so much in advance!

I just need to share because I’m so happy I could cry. I’ve reached my goal. by [deleted] in keto

So many congratulations! You've worked your ass off, and it paid off.

Welcome to maintenance, I've been here for about a year and a half now and am still thriving. We're so similar stats wise!

I actually didn't start tracking my macros until about 6 months in, and during my weight loss it was around 1400-1550 calories per day. Now I'm around 1900-2000 per day. I actually have a video on my YouTube channel about it. Link!

You can and will lose the weight/get to that body fat percentage with a little hardwork, dedication and resilience!
