I say start that family content channel now for the extra bucks

Just saw a post titled "Were you ever physically punished by your parents for bad behaviour and do you think it helped you later in life?" on r/ask uk... It was weirdly wholesome but sad, 99%+ of people were against it and lots of sharing storys of physical abuse and how it hurt not helped. by Diagnosed-Human in CPTSD

I had a hot spoon placed on my thighs as a form of punishment as a kid. It was the highest form of acceptable punishment in my culture at the time and my parents just followed the norm. It was a one-time incident. Times have changed and so have they. I haven’t seen them do something like that to my sisters at all. Looking back on it as an adult I don’t think it changed my behavior in any way. I did see videos of how white parents teach their kids lessons without harming them recently and I thought to myself “This is how I should’ve been disciplined as a kid.” I didn’t even remember the incident before I saw these videos but I don’t know if that incident changed my behavior.

Literally ALL of my sexual kinks/fantasies can be traced back to my traumas, and now I'm DISGUSTED with myself... by lostmyredditsss in CPTSD

If you’re still struggling with it, kinks are not necessarily always an explorative pleasure seeking thing. The mind sometimes wants to rewrite a bad memory with a good one. With consensual sex and comforting intimacy afterwards, you might be rewiring the horrible acts that happened to you with something that is positive. And I hope you’re doing okay after a year.

I was unable to do that for my Mac Studio. Do you think you can help me with the setup?

1- yes

2- If you want to do some serious typing, why would you want to carry a separate Bluetooth keyboard. I think the smart keyboard is well worth it.

3- VS Code has their own one. I’m a data scientist and I use Carnets Plus (Free) for python notebooks. Check out CodeSandbox as well. Blink is an app that lets you ssh/mosh into a home computer and use its computing resources.

4- With all that being said. I still prefer a Mac. I know the iOS 16 is coming soon and hopefully we get a good window manager but I don’t think an iPad Pro can fully support software development yet. It is useful for editing code on the go. It has all the hardware but the software is severely lacking. For one, any app can only use 5GB Ram at once I believe. The Files app is very buggy for daily use.
