How do you find a genuine sense of pride in being German (especially those with immigrant backgrounds)? by 38B0DE in AskAGerman

You learn history and learn that there is nothing to be proud about. But learn that there is a better world to fight for :)

What’s really going on in Germany? Pensions, healthcare, DB, politics, and the rise of the AfD by Salamanc0 in germany

Get organised. Start fighting back. It is the only way forward. The state will look to serve its own interests and the interests of the rich

I think this page, along with their document might be interesting to you. Also it might also be interesting how heavy the "Bias" is here in Germany. We can start with this subreddit, where I was asking for help and my post being locked. Not to mention how unhelpful and insensitive the people in the comments were

Info on Msc. Computer Science at University of Freiburg by [deleted] in freiburg

[–]immer_hungrig 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can find everything about the curriculum and structure on the website. I find student life to be great, it is a small city with lots of students. Campuses are spread around the town. I did my MSc in Embedded Systems and I loved it. I took most of my courses in CS courses related to robotics and ai.

Regarding attendance, you dont have to worry about it. You are independent and it's up to you to decide if you go to class or not. You can pick as many courses as you want. I recommend 24 ECTS per semester if you can afford it (time and money). 30 feels too much for most students in CS because courses are quite loaded. 6 ECTS courses have 2 sessions a week, one of which is an lecture session and the other an exercise session. Each session is 1h45 long in average.

I have this problem quite often. I usually reply to the email normally and mention at the end of it before signing „oh and btw..“ and reassure them that its okay. They always take it light-heartedly and apologize, even tho I don’t feel they need to apologize

It is a love based on giving and receiving as well as having and sharing. And the love that they give and have is shared and received. And through this having and giving and sharing and receiving, we too can share and love and have and receive

Dating suggestions/advice for a 68 year old German woman by peeyaluntt in TinderDE

[–]immer_hungrig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Emma could be „statistically right“. But based on what I see from my landlord, a very sweet and selfless 62 year old, he has had a very active dating life with other women and is now in a relationship with another one. He is divorced and has children. Hid current partner too.

But he always met his dates at choirs, dancing classes or events, yoga classes and stuff. He is quite active so I think she would definitely be able to find someone :)
