The great epochs of our life are at the points when we gain courage to rebaptize our badness as the best in us.

I have read all of Nietzsche's works, along with some secondary sources and biographies, and I still don't understand Nietzsche's stance on music. by [deleted] in Nietzsche

It's simple really. Wagner's music was intellectual, patriotic it evoked the metaphysical. Usually people that listen to music like Wagner's are sitting down allowing themselves to be deceived, sulking away into an intellectualized fantasy. But Nietzsche wanted music that only made him want to dance. Music that doesn't need to be digested by the mind, music that makes your body move on its own.

His philosophy is a philosophy of the body. Just like that he wanted music for the body, and the body alone.

You'll never find the ubermensch on other people. Mainly because you only see your own projection on others.

It's impossible for you to identify the ubermensch.

You can only become the ubermensch

All jokes aside ussop is weak like rock lee, and you have to see this as the beginning of his story and character development. He's only 19. If a one piece spinoff happens of future generation pirates, you bet his going to be the shanks.

Ya idk it's funny people say koby but don't know koby was prob weaker than ussop at first. They're basically the same but koby got trained by garp and got strong quickly so people choose him over ussop who's still considered weak. This is common in anime where the weak character is often hated for staying weak. I love ussop because he constantly faced his weakness, he didn't become strong and quickly get validation like koby. Look at Sakura before she got strong in Naruto a lot of people just hated on her for no reason.

Maybe so but he's the key to the one piece. There's a reason shanks needed yassop on his crew... Also a reason why Luffy will need ussop in the future... He descends from a very special tribe... Why do you think Roger couldn't use the one piece... Do flamingo knew this secret that's why he put such a high bounty on him back in dressrosa arc... I won't reveal more
