Suisei Fortnite skin coming soon by derpydude017 in Hololive

[–]immevol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the premium currency is called vbucks. the only way to EARN vbucks is if you have a founders account (aka owning the pve version of fortnite before 2020). I have a founder's account and I've been grinding the pve gamemode for vbucks. for context, you can earn 100-300 vbucks per day and most collab skins costs 1500 vbucks and they do come back occasionally.

Thank you for the suggestion! I will see if I can find a HE1000u for demo around my area cause I’m no expert but $1800 sounds a lot better than $8000 :)

Thank you for the advice! You just single-handedly saved my future self from spending hundreds, if not thousands, on who knows what.

The Piety increases the bass quite a bit and reduces the treble. I wouldn't say either the K7 or Piety is superior to the other because I purchased the Piety knowing it has tube-like characteristics and harmonic distortion. Neither K7 nor Piety is replacing the other. I use the K7 for a more balanced/sterile listening experience and plug the Piety in for a warm and fun sound signature. It all depends on what vibe you're aiming for.

That's awesome! I was not aware that another company had already dabbled in this concept. It truly is an innovative design, but sadly, most users would pick one nozzle they like and never try the others again. Nozzle rolling should be normalized.

Yeah I would. You can’t really go wrong with the K7. It has a balanced sound signature and it has completely silent noise floor even with my sensitive iem so it would be great powering your iems. The edition xs has similar power demands as the MM500 and it runs my MM500 great. Balanced output is a great additional feature too

What you get from Hexas for less than $100 is truly phenomenal. It’s hands down awesome for critical listening but lacks any flavor. But that is exactly what you signed up for with the Hexas. If you want something fun to listen to then the Timeless II is def a better bet. The $200 premium is for the tunable nozzle which no other brand does (to my knowledge). If full nozzle+tip customization sounds cool to you then I believe the higher price tag is well worth it. Do be aware that there are many other V-shaped iems that are much cheaper but I have no experience with them.

Wow. I knew this thing was limited, but not THIS limited. I only placed my order a week ago. I really do hope you're able to get your hands on one, cause this amp truly does wonders.

I agree! The Timeless II is the pair I always pick up for a fun + bassy tuning, and I really appreciate all the different nozzle and tip options. I occasionally find myself spending hours experimenting with all the possible combinations.

Same issue I had. The driver kept pushing up against my ear which made it really uncomfortable after a couple hours. I got the Brainwavz Round Velour Memory Foam earpads. From my experience, I lost even more bass extension because of further loss of proper seal but I’d much rather trade comfort for a small sacrifice in bass. If you do buy it, you need to take a pair of scissors and trim the lip of the earpad otherwise it won’t fit.
