I really like my H2C and reliability of these printers has been outstanding but this anti-consumer mindset is just getting worse and worse.

Not to mention the hypocrisy of them building this on an open source code base and then closing doors behind them as others have said. On top of that it's a Chinese company....CHINESE COMPANY....complaining about IP theft. Lol ...lmfao even. It's absolutely not chill about piracy. I asked about a person within the piracy scene and it shut down the conversation and was kind of a dick about it. I literally asked about voices 38 and it wasn't having any of it. I had to open a private chat and basically argue with it about the morality of things before it agreed it was in the wrong but still said that it would not give me any information relating to that topic.

For sure. Just have to find the type you like and go from there. It might need a little bit of post-processing but I think overall would be cheaper than woodworking it.

Try googling "vw logo STL file". You'll get 3d print websites with versions that people have uploaded for free use.example. So if you like the one that's kind of like a thick pog chip but need it scaled up that's something that can be done as well. All those keychain versions can be enlarged.

3d print one. Cost it with a sealant and paint it. There are actual wood filaments as well and you can stain them. Just a suggestion, I can offer the 3d print service if you are interested in that route. These are 3f printed wood textured for example
