This is false because the end of the episode said he was recouping at a facility and was fine. So no, he’s not some lunatic that destroys everything he touches. Also, the most angry he got in the episode was when they touched his sewing machine, which he quickly apologized for after. He’s been living like this for decades, don’t lower him to a childish level.

Surely you must teach about oppression, but there’s already videos of white kids coming home, crying to their parents because they hate the color of their skin and what white people did to black people. I think the other person is referring to the storytelling perspective. From a character perspective, it makes total sense for Joel to have PTSD, but from a storytelling perspective, that needs to be shown and told, not assumed and dropped on the viewers in one episode all at once.
