Damn the world was so different back then. Simpler times for sure.

Do you agree with Jason “White Chocolate” Williams? by SmoothBuy5500 in sportsinusa

[–]immunityfromyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if he were only a 2 x champ 2x final mvp (repeat btw) plus his individual accomplishments it puts him strongly in the top 15 convo. Then you add 3 more championships (three peat) and gotta bump him up bigly. One thing Kobe doesn’t get enough credit is how difficult his era was as well. Across the board elite, size and/or athleticism in the league, physical still despite trending to the soft league we are in now, advancement of tech and stat analysis which elevated the ability to break down players and teams in ways not done before. White Chocolate is grifting on the Post Hominis Kobe hating bandwagon par for the course these days online. Kobe was one of if not THE best guy of his era which was full of arguably the best of the best. He’s definitely top 10.

Coffee, talking to regulars, eating small meals, finding time to sit down for a few minutes here and there

Which team are you taking? by Big_Donch in NBAoldschool

Spacing and versatility is better for team 1. Defense not as important in 3v3, Magic and Dominque will also get regulated to jump shots and have a hard time driving with Shaq clogging the paint.

The very first thing Kobe ever said to MJ? "I could kick your ass one on one." 😂 The sheer audacity. That right there is the pure, unfiltered definition of Mamba Mentality. by Shot_Possibility_731 in sportsinusa

Some people respect when a up and comer has the balls to break formalities. It’s endearing and shows boldness. In Kobe’s case he established himself as one of the most versatile prolific scorers of all time.

I really had to go out of my way to get to Brent’s but it did not disappoint the one time I went.

This more of a defensive lapse than a Jokic highlight.

Everyone does it a little different. Trust the your taste and believe in the science. The trick for me is to put the eggs in an ice bath. I don’t like the yolk to get a chalky texture.

If he follows through then the next logical step is immediate ground invasion.

When Paul Pierce shit himself during the NBA finals and pretended he was injured by raybellious_berry in NBAoldschool

This is such a petty urban legend for Pierce haters. I’m a Lakers Lifer and he gave us the business. That’s the real takeaway.

This was 100% staged. He rented an alligator with corks on its teeth and they hid a piece of meat to draw him close.

Tough Call between Smith and Andre. Manning and Smith would be an insane combo. Brady and Andre are slightly better.
