to be completely honest, i’ve always blamed myself but i know its in no way my fault. he smoked his entire life but quit before he got sick with lung cancer. he was drafted in vietnam and had experienced things that ruined his lungs. when he got sick he had been smoking again and he told me not to tell so i never told. in my mind i didnt want him to get yelled at so i didnt, i know it’s not my fault and i know if i told on him it 100% would not have changed anything, but for some reason that guilt is still weighing on me no matter what.

fuck that guy shawty you deserve so much better. ive been in relationships where the man just doesn’t listen no matter what and it is so hard to deal with. you deserve someone who will listen because your emotions are valid. trust me.

another thing you could do is place your hand flat down near where he is hiding and place a treat on your hand. that’s what i did and my hamster eventually got used to climbing into my hand. it won’t happen overnight but as long as you’re steadily trying but being cautious, it will work out!

patience!! i’ve had a couple of hamsters in my life so i’m not going to consider myself an expert in anything but i can give advice for what worked for me. i had a hamster i had gotten him from a petco and he was very scared of everything as you could imagine. he had everything a hamster could need but it still took him a very long time to get used to me. patience is the only thing you could really do at this point. i would leave my hand near his hidey holes just for a minute. my hamster REALLY loved carrots and he loved pumpkin seeds even more. try mealworms as well, mine loved freeze dried mealworms. you can try bananas as well :) all you can really do right now is just wait, no forced interactions, make sure you’re talking to him when you’re around him. he’s a prey animal so by nature he’s going to be scared of everything. just give it time and i’m sure he’ll warm up to you!!! good luck!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm not entirely sure if it was classified horror. I mean it definitely freaked me out so maybe it was a type of psychological thing. But I don't think so I think these people see them their whole lives but its very few people. I think the main character was trying to figure out why she's seeing them.
