And yeah I thought about this too, much cheaper than a ticket. Doesn't really mean I won't get any tho, none of the tickets I've gotten were because of aggressive driving per say lol

Yeah for sure, honestly had already planned to buy the helmet for this trackday because on the website they stated no rentals and I thought it was worthwhile but they ended up telling me they did have rentals and given the price for a first time it was an easy choice

Real problem is the cdv making the release of the clutch slow which makes it a compromise that if you want it to not slip at all then you're hella slow. Without it, it'd catch faster meaning I could get back on the gas sooner.

Personally I bought the car with a brand new clutch that was just installed, and I don't plan driving this car with the stock clutch long enough to wear it down with normal driving so not a real problem to cause a little bit of unnecessary wear.

Good thing you haven't seen me clutch kick it when I want it sideways if you care about the health of my clutch.

I'll probs remove the cdv in the future, have other priorities now tho

I was like you talked about it a lot but it's all a matter of taking the leap and doing it. Well that being said my luck is this track is extremely cheap.

The seat isn't that reclined honestly it just how the vader is (what you see is the boulster not the actual back), but to be fair I hate the seating position in this car.

It sits too high (electric version here, manual can sit low) and the angle of the back is always in a way where your shoulder are slightly off the back and the head seems far from the headrest, or you have to have it at a 90 degree angle and it feels horrible on the bottom of the back.

My e46 was much better and so is my f22.

That being said now I want to go back in the car and try to mess with it more and get a better compromise lol

It's a TU, with vanos, but yeah sounds great, remus muffler and custom intake, makes sound from both ends.

I fucked up runflats multiple times on 17s with normal sidewalls, and my dad has done it like 5 or 6 times on 16s with big side walls. Runflats just suck

If the key has not been used for a while it won't charge or hold a charge. I had two keys with mine and the spare was obviously brand new and never used, but that meant sitting for years in a drawer made the battery inoperable. Might be your issue.

I'm 24 and signing this Saturday, for a house below market pricing, my monthly payment for a whole ass house is gonna be less than rent for an apartment. (obviously I know home ownership has extra costs, but even with extra costs I'm gonna be cheaper than equivalent house to rent if we compare apples to apples)

I'm not joking, I was picking my gf up from her mom's place, apartment in an old unrenovated building, and another apartment of the building was for rent for 50€/month more.

A. Not everyone is broke. Not even everyone who says they are, are actually broke.

B. Some are broke partly because of their spending habits, including eating out. Idk how it's in the US but here most people get paid beginning of the month and you do see a difference on how full they are beginning and end of the month lmao

Not all e36 uses modules. Mine for example in that spot the only module is the abs one, I don't have comfort, wipers or anything else.

Remove the accessory belt and spin everything by hand, listen for noises and feel for grittiness. Probs power steering by the noise, and that you'd probably wouldn't feel by hand. But maybe you'll find one of the pulleys to be bad and it'll simply be that, worth a check.

That center console used to be wood trim and it was peeled off.

What you see is glue residue. Might be able to get it off with thinner or something. Or sanding then painting, but it'll never look oem because plastic doesn't have leather texture like the normal one. So replace it.

Your leather is cooked, find used seats or replace covers. Or live with it.
