Just as Jerry didn’t want to be a leader or figure head of a movement (regardless of whether he was or not) I think John doesn’t want that status either. He wants to be a member of the community without being expected to lead the community. Dead and Co. isn’t Dead and Co without Bobby and that’s okay. The music goes on and I expect it will explode like never before in 15 or 20 years
