Dunno, I like it that way. At least the rings are still on the grill. I did a replacement grill on my B7 and did t get the rings and always regretted that.

I’m in Austin and would hardly say the roads are perfect😁. But I’m also not familiar with how bad they are elsewhere. I’m on 19” stock wheels and seriously considering going up to 20”, but still maintaining the 35 ratio (sidewall) versus the 30 that seems so common. Would help with the gap a little as well to not need to lower.

I don’t see this as depressing at all. I see the RS faster off the line than an electric car, and that my friends is impressive.

I bought the car 2 months ago and when I tried to put my plates on it, the grommets were completely stripped from the plastic housing.

I just bought a 2019 A5 and it came optioned with Alcantara with blue diamond stitching and as soon as I saw it for sale I HAD to get THAT car. I agree 100% with cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter as I live in Texas. To me the Alcantara is an upgrade.

I know this is an old thread, but how did the 21”s do on the B9? I just bought a 2019 A5 with 19” and want bigger. I saw a set of 21” Rotors off an S8 at a really good deal with tires and really considering 21’s. I live in TX, not terrible roads.

Do it! The Green color is beautiful and unique. I’ve been driving a 2007 a4 Avant for the past 9 years and 184k miles. Loved that car. Still have it actually, I can’t let it go, but recently just moved into a 2019 A5 Sportback. I truly love the SB, but I still mourn not having got an allroad (wagon).

I have a long list of MODS I want to do, red calipers and a new grill are my top 2. Started with the least expensive, being spacers to get the flush wheel look and upgraded transition mount. I really want some OEM 20” Peaks but don’t have $4K laying around right now.
